AP Exam Registrations (Now)

The Registration period for the 2022 Advanced Placement (AP) Exams is open.  The exams are scheduled for the weeks of May 2-6 and May 9-13. To take the assessments, you must register for a College Board account and join your specific class in AP Classroom. Use the join codes that teachers gave out to connect your account with your AP course. If you are not in the AP portal and joined to your class, we cannot order a test.

The exam fee is $96/exam. Payment will be collected from January 24th-March 13th. Any student who does not pay by March 13, 2022 will be unable to sit for an exam in May. Please check to see if you are eligible for a fee waiver. If you are eligible, the exam fee is reduced to $15 for HCPSS students.

Decisions for exams must be made by November 15th. College Board fees are charged for decisions that happen after November 15th:

  • Switching from Yes to No after November 15th = $40 cancellation fee per exam

  • Switching from No or Undecided to Yes after November 15th = $40 late fee per exam

HCPSS must collect the fees to pay College Board.

Please confirm your choices in AP Classroom before the November 15th deadline to avoid late fees and cancelation fees.  Also, please complete this short Google Form using the link below. This will be the best way to ensure that we have the most up to date information.
