National Honor Society for Dance Arts

The NHSDA is made up of LRHS dancers working on gaining points through performance, leadership in dance, writing papers on performances, community service, and other dance related activities to be eligible to wear a chord at graduation.

Science National Honor Society

Open to Juniors and Seniors.  The purpose of this organization shall be to encourage participation in and recognition of scientific and intellectual thought and encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all mankind. Members must maintain a 3.4 overall GPA and a 3.5 science GPA.  Completion of at least one Honors or GT science course prior to junior year and current enrollment in at least one upper level science course is required.  Upper level science course include all GT and AP science course as well as Anatomy and Physiology, Marine Science, and Forensic Science.


Societe Honoraire de Francais

The Société honoraire de français is the honor society for upper level French students. To be invited to the chapter, students must maintain an A- average or higher in their French courses leading up to Junior year or their 4th semester of study. Invitees must also show interest in the promotion and continued study of French language and culture with participation in activities outside of class.


Tri-M Music Honor Society

Students who are enrolled for two semesters in LRHS Music Ensembles, i.e. Band, Choir or Orchestra. Academic Achievement – At least a 3.0 average in music courses as well as in other academic subjects. Character Strength and Service – Demonstrate leadership, service, and character in all activities.
