Winter Help Drive

We know that families are continuing to experience unprecedented levels of challenges, so throughout the rest of the semester we will be checking in with our students even more often than we normally do. Our plan is to offer gift cards to families and provide community information that will support clothing, housing, etc. As part of the Winter Help Drive, there is a new school store that was created by our Pupil Personal Worker, Elizabeth Dolan, for students who may be experiencing a hardship and need certain materials.

One Long Reach Initiative

Our whole school initiative to Build Belonging and Togetherness and impact school culture. This is our plan for implementing Restorative Justice at Long Reach.

Substance Misuse and Prevention Presentation

The health, safety, and well-being of our students is a priority for our school community. With this in mind, we have partnered with the HCPSS, Howard County Department of Public Health and HCDrugFree to develop a presentation on the topic of substance misuse and prevention strategies.

Marquee Makeover

Our goal is to upgrade the existing marquee that faces Old Dobbin Lane by installing a two-way digital sign and landscaping the surrounding area. To accomplish this goal, we will need to raise over $20,000.
