College Visits at LRHS

It is that time of year when admissions representatives from several colleges, universities, technical schools and the military make appointments to see students here at LRHS. This is a great opportunity for you to not only learn more about the different options you have after graduation but also to make face-to-face connections with the admissions reps who will be reading your application! We have the following schools visiting LRHS in the next two weeks:

Sign up for parent conferences during week of November 25

Parent Conference Scheduling window opens today November 11th, and runs through Friday, November 22nd for conferences on November 25 - 27. Parents can begin scheduling parent teachers conferences. All scheduling is done through HCPSS Connect. Please click here for directions on how to set up conferences with your students teacher.

Latest Fine Arts Performance: Coffee House & Musical Auditions

Long Reach's annual Coffee House, 'Welcome to Wonderland', is Friday November 22 from 7-10 pm. Please join us for an evening of awesome student and staff performances and some good food! Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

The Epidemic Outside of School Hours: KNOW How to Invest in Your Kid's Future

Follow link for slides and handouts from this event: On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 7:00 PM 8:30 PM: Long Reach High School partnered with HC DrugFree to bring Dr. Amelia Arria, Director, Center on Young Adult Health and Development at the University of Maryland School of Public Health to share her expertise with parents and other community members. This presentation focused on areas of concern for high school parents and the impact of substance use, particularly marijuana, on academic performance.

Advanced Placement Exam Registration 2019/2020

Beginning this year, AP registration is a two-step process that takes place beginning October 1st. Registration deadline is November 1. Students should have returned their College Board (CB) Portal Enrollment forms to their teachers. If they have not registered to use the Portal, they can’t sign up to take AP exams.

LRHS Transcript Requests

Transcript requests for Current and Graduate (2014-2019) LRHS Students can now be paid for online with a credit/debit card!
