CLASS OF 2021

The Class of 2021 is in the process of planning several great events/activities for our rising Sophomores –  A School Ring Ceremony, The Prom, and a Moving Up Ceremony/ Picnic Day (once the seniors leave). We will be running several fundraisers throughout the year to help cut the costs of these events/ activities.

We are currently collecting pictures of the Class of 2021 students from their freshman year through their senior year to present in a slide show during their Senior Awards. Pictures should be from LRHS school functions: sports, clubs, Homecoming, selfies at school events, shows, awards ceremonies, fun at school, etc. (no baby photos, please). Send any photos you may have to Robin Flood – rflood@hcpss.org.

***Homecoming T shirt designs are due ASAP. We would like to have a student from our class design the Homecoming T shirt for next year. The T shirt will be black. Please send any artwork ideas to either Robin Flood or Delise Davenport.

***Ring Ceremony – This will take place in October. Students will receive their rings in a formal ceremony. Rings must be ordered by August 1, 2019 in order for them to be delivered by our ceremony. Orders can be made online, payment plans available at highschool.herffjones.com. Or contact Marty Murphy at Herff Jones 410-257- 5657.

The Prom – The Class of 2021 is in charge of the planning of the 2020 Prom. The 2020 Prom will be at the BWI Marriott on May 1. More information will be forthcoming as we begin the 2019-2020 school year.

Moving Up Ceremony – We aren’t sure if we are going to keep this title but we are planning on a fun and meaningful way to end their Junior year, just after the seniors leave, moving into the Senior Spotlight!

Fundraising – Always a topic nobody likes but is needed! Thank you to everyone who took part in our fundraisers this year. We will have several next year, please plan to take part in 1 or more of these. Anything we make will go back to the students in the form of cutting costs for prom ticket prices, our moving up ceremony, and senior activities. We have 3 restaurant nights planned, cookie dough sales, and candy grams (for Valentines).
