On March 28 (moved from February 8 due to weather closings) Long Reach will be hosting its third OneLongReach Day for the 2017/2018 school year. Our goal through all OneLongReach Initiatives is to grow belonging and togetherness within our school community so that we can create authentic and postive relationships, challenge marginalization, and promote inclusion. On March 28 100 students and 20 staff members will experience activities in the gym facilitated through our partnerships with the HCPSS Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Howard County Government #OneHoward Initiative. A sincere thanks to Bright Minds Howard County for their generous support.
Student sign ups are still open and we can't wait to see what will happen as we promote authentic relationships and seek out ideas for a better school community.
