Long Reach High School’s Gifted and Talented Program

Sat, 12/23/2017 - 10:38am

Are you interested in having your student apply to the Independent Research Program or the Intern-Mentor Program?  Both courses offer unique opportunities for students to learn about research and to complete a research project based on a topic of their choice.  IR students stay in  school and work closely with the G/T Resource Teacher.  Mentor students leave the building for a 5 hour/week on site experience.  Both classes complete a final research project.  Enrollment is limited and based on application information, teacher recommendations and transcripts.  Applications will be available in mid-December in the G/T Resource Room (348A) and the Student Services Center
