This is another important reminder regarding immunizations. Per Maryland State Law, COMAR requires that immunizations need to be up to date prior to the start of school. For all 9th and 10th graders, including repeating 9th and 10th graders, it is required that they have received the Tdap and MCV4 immunizations prior to the first day of school, Sept. 5th, 2017. Students who do not provide proof of these immunizations or present proof of an appointment within twenty days from their first day of school, are to be excluded the first day of school. Students will be re-admitted to school when they provide proof of immunizations or proof of an appointment with vaccine administration by Sept. 25th, 2017. Please check with your child's pediatrician to see if they have already received these immunizations. There are a few free immunization clinics being held for insured and uninsured children on the following dates:
Sept. 5: 2:30p-5:00p at Applications and Research Lab (ARL) Rm 8, 10920 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City
Sept. 6: 3:00p-5:00 at Elkridge Landing Middle School, Rm 119, 7085 Montgomery Rd, Elkridge
Sept. 7: 3:30p-5:30p at Lime Kiln Middle School, Health Room, 11650 Scaggsville Rd, Fulton
