HSA Testing Next Week 1/10 - 11

Students who previously took the biology and/or Government HSA’s, but did not meet the required graduation score will be tested Tuesday, January 10 and?or wednesday, January 11. Students needing to test will be issued passes for the appropriate date, time, and location. Students need to be here on time because we will only be testing in the morning on these dates.

Come see Once Upon a Mattress on 1/19 & 1/20

Come see Once Upon a Mattress presented by Long Reach High School Musical Theatre! This quirky version of The Princess and the Pea will be presented on January 19th and 20th at 7pm. Tickets are $8 at the door. Watch as Prince Dauntless searches for a princess despite the will of his mother, the queen.

HC DrugFree Update 1-2-17

HC DrugFree Teen Advisory Council: HC DrugFree’s Teen Advisory Council is open to all Howard County high school students and community service hours are available. The next 2 meetings will be on Monday, January 9 and February 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Barn (Teen Center) in the Oakland Mills Village Center. Free pizza provided so teens must RSVP to Admin@hcdrugfree.org.

Then either print out the correct permission slip or get one from Ms. Quinn in Student Services. Permission slips are due back to Ms. Quinn by Tuesday, January 3rd.

LRHS Band-a-Thon 1/7 11am - 3pm

On Saturday, Jan. 7, the 2017 Long Reach High Band-a-Thon will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school atrium.
