Long Reach High School Student Services are hosting a Summer School Registration Night on April 4, 2017, Tuesday from 3:00PM to 7:00PM in Student Services.

Juniors ~ We still have space left on the bus to visit Mount St. Mary’s College on March 29th! Since the bus is not full yet, we will accept permission slips for the Mount St. Mary’s trip this week! Please drop them off to Ms. Quinn in Student Services!

On Tuesday the 28th, softball will be having their second Famous Dave's Restaurant Night fundraiser! Last year we raised almost $400 and Famous Dave's let us know we were the best school/sports fundraiser they have ever had! Heather and I would like to make it even bigger this year! Please check out the attached forms for the info and the coupon.

I am sure by now you have heard that we have our graduation date!! May 30, 2017 at 5:00pm!! Congratulations to you all.

Come watch the staff from Long Reach High School compete in a Dance Completion on Wednesday, March 22nd at the Jim Rouse Theater! The Dance Completion will benefit the Bright Minds Foundation and the Students of the Howard County Public School System.

On this past Saturday, Long Reach had 4 entrants in the Countywide History Day competition. Delaney Marvel-Burns and Sophia Hale received medals for taking 3rd place in their respective categories. Ciera Hudson received a medal for finishing 2nd in her category, and will go on to the state competition in April.

Howard County Office of Workforce Development Youth Program is partnering with other community agencies to assist youth ages 16 - 24 years old to gain employment. Along with becoming knowledgeable about other communty organizations, colleges and financial awareness.

Teens in grades 10-12 can spend two weeks in July 2017 in Columbia’s sister cities in Cergy-Pontoise (France), Tres Cantos (Spain) or Tema (Ghana), living with a teen of similar age, then host the same teen here for two weeks.
