Come one, come all, as the International Thespian Society Proudly presents: Long Reach has Talent. Come and watch as our future stars perform in front of you. There will be snacks and drinks for purchase and even some baskets made by the honor societies & clubs at our school for our silent auction. See our LRHS stars, guitar and piano players, singers and actors, etc. and musical theater class perform, Friday April 22 with the start being at 7pm in the auditorium. This is a fundraiser for Grassroots and a suggested donation of $5 will be collected at the door.

Ramadan began this past weekend and extends through May 2. Any student who requests/needs a quiet place during lunch may reach out to any staff member, and we will arrange for them to spend their lunch time in a location other than the cafeteria. Students are welcome to get a pass to the media center at any time during the school day.

Maryland’s accountability system describes school and local school system performance. It provides information to educators, families, and the public about each school and paves the way for improvement. Through a strong accountability system, stakeholders gain an understanding of how schools are doing and where support is needed in order for those schools to perform better. The Long Reach High School PTSA is sponsoring After Prom for $10.00 per person.The event for our junior and senior students will be at Bowlero Normandy - Ellicott City, from 10:00 PM – 1:00 AM following the Prom on Saturday, April 30, 2022 .

You can drop off items in the boxes located at the front of the Long Reach High School.

Our 2022 Prom (sponsored by the Class of 2023) will be from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th at the new Merriweather Lake House Hotel in Columbia, MD.
