NOVEMBER 1st DEADLINE
If you are applying to a college that has a November 1st deadline you MUST turn in your blue transcript form to our registrars no later than tomorrow (10/7/22) to guarantee your materials will be sent to your colleges on time.
UNOFFICIAL TRANSCIPTS
All seniors (and their families) can now review their unofficial transcript via the Family File in Synergy. We have uploaded each seniors transcript for you to look at. This is what will be sent to colleges.
FAFSA:
FAFSA opened October 1st. Sign up for a timeslot for extra help with your financial aid forms on 10/17/22 at Long Reach.

Do you need help to fill out the FAFSA or MSFAA for financial aid for college? On Monday, October 17th from 9:00am-2:00pm, families can get one-on-one help in completing the application. The help will be provided by staff from Howard Community College, but the appointments are open to seniors planning to attend ANY college next year, not just HCC.
The FAFSA is the primary source of financial aid for students who are citizens or permanent legal residents.
The MSFAA is the Maryland application for financial aid for undocumented students.
If you are not sure which application to complete, please discuss this at your appointment.
Use the Sign Up Genius link to select a 30-minute time slot and to read more about what to bring to your appointment. One thing you will need to do before the appointment is to create an FSA ID number for FAFSA or create an account for MSFAA (do not do both). The appointment may be attended by the student, the parent, or both. Whoever is attending the meeting should bring a charged Chromebook or laptop.
Act quickly to choose an appointment time - space is limited.
