Course registration for the 2022-2023 school year has begun! During Lightning Time today students watched a presentation including a video on the scheduling process and received materials to guide them through the course selection and registration process.

Counselors and other staff will be available to answer questions during all lunches 1/10-1/14/2022. Additionally, counselors will meet with all students via their English classes after the January 18 deadline.
Remember that there are options to join a Career Academy, both at Long Reach and the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL), and to take college courses through HCC via the JumpStart program. We will share more about both programs at the Virtual Student and Parent Scheduling Night on January 6.
If you have concerns or disagree with any of the course recommendations, please contact your child’s teacher or counselor. If you are still not satisfied with the recommendation, parents/guardians may complete the Course Placement Review Form online through the parent HCPSS Connect account. Please follow the instructions in the Course Placement Review Form Entry Guide to assist you with completing this form.
