October is LGBTQIA+ History Month!

Fri, 10/08/2021 - 12:10pm
LGBTQIA+ History Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements.

Long Reach's Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) will be celebrating LGBTQIA+ History Month by observing National Coming Out Day on Monday, October 11th and National Pronouns Day on Thursday, October 21st!

National Coming Out Day - come to school wearing your Pride Gear! There will be a table during all lunch shifts where you can grab pride stickers and chat with GSA representatives to learn more about LGBTQIA+ history!

National Pronouns Day - stop by the GSA table during all lunch shifts to pick up pronoun stickers made by GSA students and chat with GSA representatives to learn more about LGBTQIA+ history!

GSA meets every other Wednesday in RM 206 after school! Our next meetings for the month of October are 10/13 and 10/27. Please feel free to come and join us!
