Homecoming & Spirit Week 2019

Dear LRHS,

I am looking forward to a wonderful Homecoming Week! Please take a moment to review the details below.

Homecoming Dance Ticket Sales

10/7 - 10/17 during all lunch shifts except on 10/16 (PSATs). Students that are not present during period 4 (Dual Credit at HCC, CRD, etc.) may purchase a ticket in the main office. In order to purchase a Homecoming ticket, the following requirements must be met:

  • All student obligations must be fulfilled
  • Family File  must be updated for the 2019-2020 School Year. 
  • A signed HCPSS Dance Form completed at the time of purchase. Click here for HCPSS Dance Guidelines
  • A completed and approved Guest form (if applicable).

Spirit Week (10/14 – 10/17)

Monday – Decades Day, Tuesday – Twin Day, Wednesday – Pajama Day, Thursday – School Color Day

Pep Rally (10/17)

Time: 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.

Early Dismissal: If you need to pick up your student for early dismissal tomorrow, please do so before 12:30 p.m. During the Pep Rally, our office staff will not be able to get your student from the stadium.

Homecoming Events – Saturday 10/19/19

Homecoming Parade:

Time: 9:00 am - 9:45 am

Details:  Parade begins in the LRHS parking lot.  We will exit right on Old Dobbin Lane then proceed left onto Tamar Drive  From Tamar Drive we will proceed onto Hayshed Lane and Stonecutter Road then return back to LRHS from Tamar Drive.

Inclement Weather: Should the parade need to be cancelled due to inclement weather, an email to the community will be sent by 8:00 a.m.

Homecoming Varsity Football Game Vs Wilde Lake HS:

Time: 1:00 pm Tickets sales will begin at 12:15 p.m.

Details: Our Homecoming game will be a Pink Out to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The LRHS Pink Ribbon Club will be collecting donations at the game.    

Homecoming Dance:

Time: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Important Details: Students attending the dance are to use the Performing Arts entrance.  Upon entering, students will be required to check their coats, book bags, purses, etc., then present their ticket and provide one of the following: student photo ID, class schedule (paper copy or on Canvas via cell phone), or their 1st quarter interim. Students will also be issued a wrist band that must be worn through the entirety of the dance.

Reminders:

  • Students/guests must adhere to all HCPSS rules and regulations pertaining to school dances. 
  • Students may not bring any coats, book bags, purses, or other similar items into the dance. Items are to be checked at the Coat Check prior to entering the dance.
  • Students/guests will not be admitted to the dance after 8:00 p.m.
  • Tickets are non-transferable.
  • Once students/guests leave the dance, they will not be re-admitted.
  • Students/guests must make arrangements to leave school property/dance location within 15 minutes of the end of the dance. Additionally, any students not picked up after 10:15pm may lose the opportunity to attend future functions.
