Community Conversation: Restorative Justice, October 7, 2019

HCPSS, the Howard County Education Association and the Restorative Justice Partnership invite students, families, staff and the public to gain a better understanding of restorative justice and how it benefits our students, schools and communities.

The event will feature a panel discussion with:

  • Monica Stevens, principal, Mayfield Woods Middle School
  • Kenny Porritt, REACH Academy lead, Long Reach High School
  • Students, Long Reach High School
  • Maura Dunnigan, parent, HCPSS
  • Daniel Kim, organizer, Denver
  • Zellie Thomas, teacher and activist, Paterson, N.J.
  • Joseph Waldon, social worker, Skinner Middle School, Denver

The panel will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
