HC DrugFree’s Teen Advisory Council Meetings – Open to All HS Teens: TAC will meet on Monday, April 16 and May 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Barn (Teen Center) in the Oakland Mills Village Center. TAC is open to all Howard County high school students and community service hours are available. Free pizza. Teens must complete the registration form found on the Teen Advisory Council page at www.hcdrugfree.org and RSVP to Admin@hcdrugfree.org before each meeting.
Middle and High School Parent Forum at Reservoir High School: Reservoir High School and HC DrugFree are partnering to hold a middle and high school parent forum on Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. in the school’s atrium. Free. Open to the public. Students welcome, but this program is for parents. Come hear what Howard County youth told HC DrugFree in recent focus groups.
High School Senior Week: Staying Safe in Ocean City Program: Mt. Hebron High School PTSA and staff will partner with HC DrugFree to provide Senior Week: Staying Safe in OC on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. Adults and all students welcome to hear beach safety tips and beach-related police updates to keep your teen safe. Parent/Student Volunteers Wanted for Meds/Sharps Collection: Clean out your medicine cabinets and don’t be your family’s drug dealer. HC DrugFree is looking for adult and student volunteers for the next convenient drive-thru prescription and over-the-counter medication and “sharps” (needles, syringes and EpiPens) collection to be held on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wilde Lake Village Center parking lot.
