On Saturday, Jan. 7, the 2017 Long Reach High Band-a-Thon will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school atrium.
Members of the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band and Percussion Ensemble will play for four hours to raise money for new band uniforms and concert attire. The event is open to public. Alumni are welcome to join in, and middle school students are invited to play along from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be snacks for sale, face painting and the T&J Waffle Truck is scheduled to come.
