HC DrugFree’s Teen Advisory Council is open to all Howard County high school students and community service hours are available. The next two meetings will be on Monday, October 10 and Monday, November 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Barn (Teen Center) in the Oakland Mills Village Center. Free pizza provided. Teens need to RSVP to admin@hcdrugfree.org.
HC DrugFree and the Howard County Police encourage parents to properly dispose of unwanted and expired medications by bringing them to HC DrugFree’s convenient drive-thru collection at the Wilde Lake Village Center parking lot on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We welcome teen/adult volunteers because we collected 721 pounds of meds in 4 hours at our last collection. For more information, go to www.hcdrugfree.org and click on medication disposal or email admin@hcdrugfree.org.
HC DrugFree still has some free medication storage boxes. If you have medications in your home, please secure them! To schedule a time to pick up your free box, please email admin@hcdrugfree.org.
