Congratulations to Megha Sharma for taking 1st place in the Sales Presentation category of the 2016 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, July 2nd!

Megha competed in the preliminaries for the Sales Presentation category on Thursday, June 30th along with 135 other students from across the country.  She was the only Howard County student in that category, and one of only two students from Maryland.  Not only that, she qualified in the top 10 to compete in the finals and she placed first nationally!

There were approximately 12,000 students nationwide in attendance, which makes Megha's win so worthwhile. Congrats to Megha and advisor Cindy Selber for this amazing accomplishment, you both make Long Reach proud! The Long Reach Boosters were proud to provide financial assistance via a grant to make Megha's trip to Atlanta possible.  Thank you Booster!
