Howard Community College Early Entrance/Dual Enrollment Information Session For 9th – 12th grade students and their parents interested in hearing more information about the Early Entrance Program for dual and concurrent enrollment. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 6:30pm Location: RCF Building (RM 400)

The LRHS Math National Honor Society has set up a website where students can request tutoring help for any math subject. All they need to do is fill out a Google Form at this site: https://sites.google.com/site/lrhsmualphatheta/ and someone will get in touch with them about setting up tutoring times.

We are having our Volleyball fundraiser at Uno Pizzeria in Long Gate Shopping Center from 11am-11pm on 9/21, attached is the slip you would provide with your check for 20% donated to the LRHS Volleyball program. FBLA Mrs. Fields Fundraiser We are raising funds to assist in the cost and travel expenses associated with being a member of FBLA. Your help is greatly appreciated! Don't forget: We serve breakfast from 7:00-7:30 everyday we have school including days with early dismissal or late opening. For more information about food services, including menus, nutrition and paying for meals: http://www.hcpss.org/food-services/ If your family qualifies for the Free and Reduced Meal program, you must re-apply each year. The online application can be found at http://www.myschoolapps.com. Students receiving Free and Reduced Meals qualify for two meals per day as well as free SAT and ACT applications, free college applications, free NCAA Clearinghouse applications, and reduced summer school tuition. Long Reach encourages all eligible families to apply! 2016-2017 Free/Reduced Application need to be turned in and approved before October 12, 2016. If a new application has not been approved by October 12, 2016 the student lunch will cost will $3.25.

Dear LRHS Community, I would first like to congratulate both our Varsity Football and Boys Soccer teams for earning victories this past weekend. Way to go Lightaning! As you know, our athletic, music, and fine arts programs are very important parts of Long Reach High School

Beginning on September 28, 2016, we are offering an activity bus for students. This bus will provide more opportunities for students to stay after school for clubs, and activities showing their Lightning Pride! We are thankful to the Bright Minds Foundation through their Driving Student Success Program for their generous grant that makes this possible.

Homecoming Dance Guest Forms

Please join us Monday evening in the Student Services office at 7pm for our 2016-17 Kickoff PTSA Meeting. Meet your Executive Board, hear and vote on the 2016-17 budget, and hear plans and initiatives we'll be working toward this schoolyear. We are also in need of a few folks to help chair some of our planned committees so if you're looking to help volunteer and make the PTSA successful this year, please consider joining us on Monday.
