Our school library has been working hard to update and broaden our resources for students. Working with the Howard County Public Library, we are now providing a new and convenient way to check out books and access their resources with the online A+ Student Cards.

Senior Meeting Notes 10/16 Period 2

Current 9th and 10th graders who have interest in any of the programs below can attend a field trip to see the programs in action on November 7-9. Interested students would enroll in the ARL programs for the 2018-2019 school year.

LRHS's OutReach after school academic support program is starting Thursday, November 2nd. Session 1 will run from 11/2/17 to 1/4/18, every Tuesday & Thursday. If your child needs help in ELA 9, ELA 10, or Algebra 1, please sign him/her up using the following link

The BSAP College and Career Opportunity Night is an annual event that exposes and provides students in grades 8 through 12 the opportunity to meet with college, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities, business and entrepreneur recruiters in a variety of career fields.

Portraits, Pictures and the Yearbook

As preparations continue to be made for a fun and exciting Senior Year, your help is needed. Due to the rising costs of the voted activities, senior dues for the Class of 2018 will be $80. In order to ease the burden of a one-time payment (though it is NOT discouraged), a payment schedule of $20.OO increments is listed below.

Go to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse (near Target in Columbia Crossing) on Monday, October 16th from 11am-11pm with the flyer to benefit the LRHS Band, Choir and Orchestra. Lunch, dinner, dine in and take out.

Howard County Student Member of the Board of Education (SMOB) Anna Selbrede will be holding an open forum for any and all HCPSS students to voice any questions, concerns, or just talk. Anna is happy to discuss anything from school lunches to sports to current political events to the Hunger Games.
