Scholars Leadership Program

The mission of The Scholars Leadership Program is to identify qualified girls, especially African American high school girls in the 10th -12th grade with an unweighted G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher, to actively participate in program planning and execution, support fellow Scholars, and to become involved in the community by carrying out the vision of The Scholars Leadership Program.

The vision of the partnership between the Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Howard County Board of Education is to provide encouragement  for students to excel academically, be given assistance in setting goals and planning for their future, while offering opportunities for leadership through educational workshops, cultural workshops, and community service for identified students in the 10th - 12th grades.

Meetings are held bi-weekly on Thursdays.
