Dear LRHS Community,
This week we hosted two important evening events. The first, titled Voices For Inclusive Community was a collaborative effort between the school system, police department, and the Howard County Office of Civil Rights. Throughout the evening, school system students, parents, and staff as well as members of the community shared their important perspectives and provided input on how to build a more inclusive community. I was so proud of the LRHS staff and students that participated in this event.
On Wednesday, we hosted the BSAP College and Career Opportunity Night. The event was kicked off by the amazing Bowie State Marching Band and followed by the evening's Keynote speaker, Dr. Taimesha Richards. I would like to thank our very own Tonya Grice, BSAP Liaison, for her hard work and contributions towards making this such a successful event!
