The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is a program for high school students in grades 9–12 that recognizes students who demonstrate an interest and ability in art. The National Art Education Association established the NAHS in 1978 to inspire students, help them achieve high standards, and bring art education to the attention of the school and community. The NAHS offers many benefits to its members, including: Peer recognition, Leadership growth opportunities, College and career preparation, Recognition of their art program, and Scholarship opportunities.
