The LRHS Gender Sexuality Alliance’s primary aim is to contribute to a safer learning environment at Long Reach High School, in accordance with HCPSS policy 9020 and 1040

• Through discussion groups, events, and exercises; GSA will in accordance with HCPSS policy, promote the end of bullying and defamatory language at Long Reach towards students based upon their perceived sexual orientation.
• GSA’s secondary objective is to help students learn how to defend their points of view firmly and respectfully
• At GSA students will have the freedom to voice their opinions and be heard by like-minded peers
• GSA will distance from exploration of personal sexuality, but rather focus on the advance of civil rights for the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole.
