Lightning Time

Mon, 10/24/2016 - 3:29pm

Each week Long Reach High school is implementing a "Lightning Time" period on Wednesdays, 9:00am to 9:30am, between periods 2 and 3. We are excited to give students space in their schedule to work with their teachers on a rotating schedule (week1 will be P1, week 2 will be P2 etc), and to have the opportunity to work with other staff for academic purposes (if they schedule this beforehand). Lightning time gives students choice in how they approach their academic responsibilities and we hope that students are empowered by the opportunity. See below for more information.

Great job guys!! All 3 levels played so hard against Atholton, but couldn't pull out the win! Varsity Football played so well against Howard, and only lost by 1 touchdown. The players, coaches, and fans were amazing on Friday night! Good luck to all the Long Reach teams that have their first round of playoffs this week!
