This safety announcement is for students who ride a school bus. As a reminder, it is very important that you adhere to the following safety practices each morning and afternoon. These safety practices are in place to keep you and your fellow bus riders safe.

1. Make sure that you arrive at your school bus stop at least 5minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
2. Never run toward or around a school bus at a bus stop or on school grounds
3. Never retrieve items that fall under the bus or near the bus wheels.
4. Make sure that vehicles on the roadway are completely stopped before entering or crossing the roadway.
5. Never cross behind a bus, always cross in front of the bus after the driver has signaled to you to cross.
6. Follow your bus driver’s directions; they are there to make sure that you are safe.
